Wallpaper Unicorn is a small independent project run by Joan, a web builder with a soft spot for good-looking screens, with one simple mission: original, beautiful wallpapers that are always free to download.

There is no big company behind this site. One person plans every collection, reviews every design and reads every message that arrives through the contact form.

How we make our wallpapers

Every wallpaper is an original design produced in-house with modern AI illustration tools and then reviewed by hand — composition, colors and crop are checked on real phone and desktop screens before anything is published. Each design ships in two dedicated sizes: portrait for phones and widescreen for desktops, so you never get a stretched or awkwardly cropped image.

You will not find licensed characters or borrowed art here — everything is ours, which is exactly why we can give it away free.

Who is this site for?

Anyone who likes a fresh screen: students, gamers, minimalists, kawaii collectors and everyone in between. Our wallpapers are free for personal use (see the licensing policy).
