Two collections are live in this section today: fall wallpapers with forty designs and Halloween wallpapers with six. They sit together because both follow the calendar, though they behave quite differently on a screen.
Fall
The autumn set is warm and slow. Some designs are landscapes, like Golden Forest, a misty field at sunrise, vineyard rows gone rust red and a slope of golden larches. Others stay indoors with Cozy Plaid, a knit blanket with acorns, Wool Socks by the fire, and Coffee and a Book. Pumpkins turn up in several forms (a harvest, a porch stack, white pumpkins, a whole patch), and a handful of minimal pieces such as Leaf Line and Amber Gradient give you the color without the scene. Most of it works from September to the end of November. In Australia, New Zealand and South Africa autumn runs from March to May, so the same set fits there in the first half of the year.
Halloween
The Halloween six are more playful than scary. Ghost Friends puts three smiling ghosts over jack-o'-lanterns, the Black Cats sit among candles, and Haunted House is a castle silhouette against a huge orange moon. Candy Pattern repeats candy corn, wrapped sweets, bats and pumpkins on orange, and it tiles behind app icons without pulling focus.
When should I switch to a seasonal wallpaper?
Whenever the weather or the calendar tells you to. One easy rhythm is fall in early September, Halloween for October, then back to fall until December. Nothing here expires, so the same files work again next year, and switching takes under a minute with our guide to setting a wallpaper.
